Son of William and Arabella Johnson of Warburton West.Joshua attended West Warburton State School No. 3466.

Military Service

War Service: Western Front.Joshua was wounded in supports in the left of Lihons, France. He was admitted to the 3rd Australian Field Ambulance, France on 15.8.1918 and was transferred to the 55th Casualty Clearing Station, suffering from gunshot wounds chest, right arm, right femur, where he died the following day as a result of his wounds.
Cousin: 2099 Corporal Thomas JOHNSON DCM MM, 34th Bn, returned to Australia 20 May 1919.
